Immanuel United Church of Christ, Sedalia, Mo, gratefully acknowledges the generosity and support of the Michael and Marie Ahn estate for its dedicated and loving gift to our church and community.
The daughter and grand-daughter of German and Swiss immigrants, who in 1876 with other like-minded individuals, founded the German Immanuel Evangelical Church in Sedalia, was proud of her heritage and connection to the church.
Through her faith, dedicated service, and gracious spirit of giving, she chose to remember the people of Sedalia and the church of her spiritual roots - Immanuel United Church of Christ.

“IUCC Grant for Senior Citizens Services or Needs in Pettis County”
Mission Statement:
“The Immanuel United Church of Christ of Sedalia, Mo shall help provide for the needs of senior citizens of Pettis County.”
History: Immanuel UCC has graciously been gifted money to improve the living and health conditions of aged persons in the church, Sedalia, and other surrounding Pettis County communities by the estate of Marie Elizabeth Ahn (Fritz). The church has a committee which has been formed to distribute the funds within the criteria as outlined in the application at their sole discretion. Typically, an applicant must meet certain guidelines to be eligible for the grant. The grant is to be used for the sole purpose of enhancing the living and/or health conditions for senior citizens (age 60 and over) of Pettis County communities.
